There are 23 articles (!!!) on Jerry, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lafuriaumana.it\/index.php\/rapporto-confidenziale-joomla\/531-smorgasbord\">my new piece<\/a> on his late masterpiece <em>Smorgasbord<\/em> (aka <em>Cracking Up<\/em>). (Besides the Jerry Lewis material, the issue also contains, among other goodies\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lafuriaumana.it\/index.php\/town-talking\/529-freedom-in-oblivion-post-feminist-possibilities-in-lars-von-triers-melancholia\">Kim Nicolini on Lars von Trier&#8217;s <em>Melancholia<\/em><\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lafuriaumana.it\/index.php\/flaming-creatures\/493-quelques-souvenirs-et-une-image-de-marcel-maze-\">something I haven&#8217;t read yet by the great film critic Nicole Brenez<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE<\/strong>: Since the pdf available from the Furia Umana site has formatting problems, a \u00a0cleaner pdf of my article on <em>Smorgasbord<\/em> is available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shaviro.com\/Othertexts\/Smorgasbord.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In other news, my web posting about &#8220;work for hire&#8221; has been <a href=\"http:\/\/webhostinggeeks.com\/science\/pou-shaviro-ht\">translated into Haitian Creole<\/a> by John Obri &#8212; for which much thanks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new issue (#12) of the film journal La Furia Umana is out; it&#8217;s a special issue on Jerry Lewis!
